Arboretum Walk (Night): "Skydance." The American woodcock is a funny-looking bird that has an amazing spring ritual for attracting mates. We can never guarantee that wildlife will appear on cue, but we can usually hear and see woodcock performances near the Arboretum Visitor Center. Naturalists will talk about the woodcock and other rites of spring that can be seen on a March evening.
