February 27 - Saturday, 9 a.m.-noon

Arboretum Ecological Restoration Work Party: "Core Area and Curtis Prairie." Volunteer for restoration activities and learn about prairies and savannas. Tools and training are provided, and groups are welcome with advance notice. Meet at the front steps of the Visitor Center. 9 a.m. to noon. For more information: 608-265-5214 or mlfarrior@wisc.edu.

February Exhibit in the Visitor Center Gallery - "A Year in the Driftless." Watercolor artist Brian McCormick draws inspiration from the woods, farm fields and prairie that surround his stone farmhouse retreat in Wisconsin's driftless region. (January 2 - February 27)
