January 30 Saturday Performances at 10:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.
Come out of the cold and into the tropics! Milwaukee’s Ton Ko-Thi African dance and drumming youth group comes to Olbrich for two special performances as part of the Children of the Rainforest series on Saturday, January 30. Be amazed by traditional high-energy African dance and strong beats of African drumming. More than a dozen dancers will perform West African dance, including dances from Senegal, Mali, and Guinea. After the performance, take a stroll and enjoy the warmth and greenery of Madison’s own tropics, the Bolz Conservatory.
Tickets for Children of the Rainforest are $3 for adults and $2 for children ages 3 to 12. Children ages 2 and under are free. Tickets are available at the door before each performance.
