Good design is the foundation of any art, from exceptional gardens to outstanding paintings. From arranging flowers or rearranging artwork on a wall, to creating a still life painting or creating a vignette of potted plants on a patio, understanding the fundamentals of design is indispensable knowledge. Join professional artist and art teacher Kay Brathol-Hostvet and learn the basics of design through lecture, handouts, group discussions, hands-on projects, and weekly assignments.
