Olbrich Botanical Gardens’ tropical Bolz Conservatory is full of interesting and exotic plants, some which were even around when the dinosaurs lived. Learn about the prehistoric world of ancient reptiles and plants and then create a jungle terrarium to take home during the Dinosaur Domes class on Thursday, March 6 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at Olbrich Botanical Gardens. The terrarium will be filled with miniature plants that lived when dinosaurs roamed the earth, dinosaur track fossils, and a mini dinosaur resident.
The class is designed for children ages 6 and up. The cost is $10 per child for Olbrich members and $12 per child for the general public. An adult must accompany children, and adults attend free. Maximum two children per adult. Early registration is advised since space is limited. Registration is required by February 28. For more information or to register call 608-246-4550.
