Fitchburg Green Expo -- April 29, 2010
April 22nd, the 40th Anniversary of Earth Day, affords each of us the opportunity to ask, what can I do to give back? One answer to the question has been organized by the City of Fitchburg. Area residents and businesses are invited to attend a FREE Green Expo hosted by Fitchburg’s Resource Conservation Commission on Thursday, April 29 from 5:30-8pm. The Expo will be held at Promega's BioPharmaceutical Technology Center (BTC) located at 5445 East Cheryl Parkway. A generous donation from Fitchburg Center is covering the cost of the space for this event.
Attendees will be able to view exhibits and talk with local exhibitors on a wide variety of available green technologies and services. A program starting at 6:30 will highlight
what the City of Fitchburg, two Fitchburg businesses, and one Fitchburg resident are
doing to be more sustainable. Additional information about the Fitchburg Green Expo
can be found at www.city.fitchburg.wi.us
