In addition local vendors will be on hand supplying valuable coupons, demonstrating sustainable products, and providing information on home energy efficiency. And you can buy rain barrels and water conservation kits from Sustain Dane.

Electronics Recycling (you pay a discounted fee of 25¢/lb)
Computers, computer accessories, TVs, cell phones and other electronics contain harmful materials including lead, mercury, cadmium, chromium, other heavy metals and chemical flame retardants. When landfilled, incinerated or illegally dumped, these chemicals can leach into the environment, where they may affect human and environmental health.
It is also important to recycle electronics because of the valuable reusable materials they contain, including plastics, metals, circuit boards and others. Recycling or reusing these materials reduces environmental impacts and economic costs by reducing the need for virgin materials in new electronics.
File 13 will take all types of electronics at Clean & Green Middleton and this is only a small fraction of what they take. File 13 does not export or landfill E-Waste. They ship exclusively to a licensed, bonded, regulated, and specifically permitted U.S. processing facility . All hard drives are physically destroyed or data wiped using Department of Defense approved software.
