Aldo Leopold Nature Center: Earth Day Celebration
Come to the Aldo Leopold Nature Center for an ex”tree”m celebration in honor of Earth Day and Arbor Day! Visitors can use our Family Trailside Backpack to explore the land at their own pace, try their luck at our environmental challenge maze through ALNC grounds, and pick up a FREE “Blue Ribbon Kit” to learn about and monitor for “alien” invaders that can harm urban trees.

Aldo Leopold Nature Center (ALNC) is a private, not-for-profit educational organization dedicated to promoting the conservation ethic of Aldo Leopold through environmental education and awareness. Founded in 1994, with sites in Monona and Black Earth, ALNC provides hands-on environmental programming for school children and their families, reaching more than 30,000 people annually.
