The Hazards of Electronic Waste

The eight most hazardous metals listed in the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act, or “RCRA” are arsenic, barium, cadmium, chromium, lead, mercury, selenium, and silver. Electronic waste contains all eight of these potentially hazardous materials.

Come to the April seminar to see a video showing how huge quantities of hazardous electronic wastes are being exported to China, Pakistan, and India where they are processed in operations that are extremely harmful to human health and the environment.
